In developing the Skuxx, Waka Kayaks based its design on the successful Steeze model, reducing its length, width, and volume. After approximately two years of development and several prototypes, the result is a boat that, in our opinion, sets new standards for river runners.

The Skuxx is the addition to the Waka range we've all been waiting for. It's a fast, fun, and short half-slice kayak that's dynamic and agile. Named after the Kiwi slang word with a multifaceted meaning, the Skuxx is also Waka's most versatile boat: downriver freestyle, wave maneuvers and surfing, river trips up to easy Class 5 whitewater, and flatwater tricks—this kayak is a true all-rounder.
The Skuxx's design is based on the Steeze, with width and volume around the cockpit. It has a more specialized surf hull that's super light and responsive. The stern is stable, making flatwater maneuvers and wheelies easier. What also sets the Skuxx apart is that it remains fast, floaty, and comfortable even on Class IV-V whitewater – a great combination.
The Skuxx is suitable for a wide weight range. It rolls easily and is the perfect boat for everyone from beginners to professionals.
