Spray decks

The spray skirt keeps water out of your kayak -- sounds simple, but it is crucial. A good spray skirt sits rock-solid on the cockpit rim, lets no wave in and still releases reliably when you need to exit. In whitewater, this can be a matter of survival.

We carry spray skirts from Immersion Research (the worldwide benchmark in whitewater), Seals, Hiko, Sandiline, Langer and Palm. Whether a neoprene spray skirt for maximum seal in whitewater or a lightweight nylon spray skirt for relaxed touring -- you will find the right deck for your boat and your use.

What should you look for? The spray skirt must fit your cockpit rim exactly -- that is the most important factor. Then you decide based on use: thicker neoprene for whitewater, thinner material or nylon for touring. The waist tunnel should fit snugly but not dig in.

Not sure which spray skirt fits your kayak? Bring your boat by or tell us the model -- we will find the right size.
