The Lettmann Profile is the straight-shaft version of the famous Lettmann Ergonom Extrem paddle. It's the top choice for anyone looking for a robust paddle with a straight shaft who doesn't prefer a forward-offset blade (like the Lettmann Nitro Extrem).
The vario split has the advantage that the paddle can be extended by up to 5 cm. Additionally, the paddle can be broken down more easily for storage and transport thanks to the split.
The blades are made from a carbon-Kevlar composite and feature an additional aramid edge. The aramid edge prevents excessive wear and protects the paddle from damage. If you're looking for a paddle without a foam core, check out the Lettmann Multi Wave.
Manufacturer's Product Description
The profiled paddle blade combined with a straight shaft guarantees good forward drive with easy handling in all whitewater conditions. Whether you're looking for pressure in aerated or blue water — with the Profile, that's no problem. The consistent yet powerful drive will pull you out of many a recirculation. Draw strokes and sweep strokes develop such grip that you only need half the paddle strokes. The robustness of the Profile Extrem is only surpassed by its handling.
