The Sweet Hunter Merino T-shirt is made from 84% wool fibers. These fibers have the property of retaining warmth even when wet. This makes merino an ideal material for paddling – or any sport where you sweat a lot! (Sweet Protection is also a respected cycling brand for a reason). The shirt is made from 11% polyamide and 5% elastane. The polyamide prevents the shirt from shrinking in the washing machine. (However, the shirt should not be washed at temperatures higher than 30°C, and ideally on a wool cycle). The polyamide also reinforces the wool fibers, making the shirt more durable. The elastane gives the shirt a nice stretch and ensures a comfortable fit.
The T-shirt comes in two colors: Golden Yellow and Forest. Both colors are combined with black. A black stripe, approximately 10 cm wide, runs down the underside of the sleeves, along the entire side of the shirt. This is quite clever, as it hides sweat stains under the armpits. The shirt also features a black stripe, approximately 40 cm high, across the lower back. The idea behind this is to prevent the shirt from getting dirty and grimy so quickly, especially when it's regularly splashed with mud while biking. And as we all know, you sweat quite a bit on your back, too.
Long story short: a well-designed T-shirt that you won't just want to wear for paddling.
