Especially on warmer paddling days, it makes sense to wear the lightweight
Sweet Hunter Merino Longsleeve for men under a drysuit or dry jacket. Merino wool regulates body temperature. The fabric is extremely comfortable against the skin and dries quickly. But the shirt isn't just for kayaking. It's also a great layering piece for winter activities like ski touring, biking, or hiking.
The shirt is also available for
men .
Care instructions
Merino is a natural fiber. To ensure maximum durability, a few simple care instructions should be followed. Since merino wool is a super fiber, it's not necessary to put the shirt in the washing machine after every use. Often, hanging it up to air out for a few days is sufficient. If you do wish to wash it, you should do so either by hand or on the wool cycle. For hand washing, simply fill the sink with lukewarm (!) water, add a little wool detergent, and soak the shirt for about 20 minutes. Then gently squeeze out the excess water (DO NOT wring!). Next, lay the shirt on a dry towel, roll it up, press it gently, unroll it, and ideally, let it dry flat.
When washing the shirt in the washing machine, make sure not to wash it at the same time as other items with zippers or Velcro fasteners. Ideally, put the shirt in a laundry bag. And very important: do not put it on the spin cycle. Please do not iron the shirt.
