All the properties important for whitewater are united in the Sandiline ExtremeDry 4L-M22 dry jacket. The jacket is comfortable, waterproof, breathable and very robust. As the icing on the cake, it also looks great! Sandiline has done an excellent job with both the cut and the colour selection.
The breathable and extremely durable Toyota 4-layer fabric keeps you dry for years. The latex gaskets sit wide at the neck and wrists, making the jacket waterproof yet comfortable. Soft UltraSpan neoprene cuffs protect the latex gaskets and provide additional warmth. The jacket also features Cordura reinforcements at the elbows, making it durable and resistant to impacts and rock contact without restricting freedom of movement. The Sandiline ExtremeDry 4L-M22 dry jacket has a double tunnel that increases watertightness. The inner tunnel is made from stretchy GT3 material with a rubber waistband. The band is rubberised on the inside so the inner tunnel doesn't ride up. The wide, adjustable YKK Velcro hook-and-loop closure at the waist guarantees a perfect fit.
The cut has been slightly modified. The most obvious difference, however, is the inner tunnel. On the previous model, it was neoprene; now it's made from stretchy, waterproof 3-layer material. The tunnel is slightly longer and therefore keeps you drier.
On warm days, we usually wear a merino shirt such as the Sweet Alpine Merino Crew. On cold days (or when you get cold quickly despite sunshine at low water temperatures), we prefer the Sandiline Polartec Fleece Shirt.
