With the Palm Colt kids paddle, there's finally a paddle designed specifically for children. The extra-thin aluminium shaft is lightweight and can be held by small hands. A plastic coating ensures the shaft is comfortable to grip and keeps fingers warm. The blades of the Palm Colt have significantly less surface area than an adult paddle, making it easier for children to pull through the water so they can learn to paddle with proper technique from the start.

For young people paddling whitewater, we alternatively recommend the Werner Sherpa with a thin shaft.
