The principle of pogies is: maximum warmth with absolute grip. The pogies are attached directly to the paddle shaft with hook-and-loop closure. You then slip through the opening into the hand warmers and hold the paddle directly. The advantage: no slipping like with paddle gloves! Thanks to their clever construction, hardly any cold water enters the pogies. And if it does: they have drain holes so it disappears as quickly as possible! The pogies provide extremely reliable protection against the main cause of cold fingers on the river: the wind!
The material is 3 mm thick, abrasion-resistant neoprene. On the inside, the pogies are super soft, so they don't chafe against the skin.
