These two-layer trousers are an absolute must-have in the warmer months.
The inner shorts
The Hiko NEO Core 2019 features warming Neospan on the inside. This special neoprene is particularly flexible thanks to its 4-way stretch, ensuring complete freedom of movement. The inner shorts are higher in the back, preventing any gap between the neoprene and your shirt or paddling jacket, even when sitting. They also extend above the knees, providing comfortable cushioning against contact with the kayak. This also significantly improves knee protection while swimming. A small Hiko logo label is located on the right waistband. Ladies: As these are unisex shorts, they run a bit small for us. For me, with a hip circumference of approximately 96 cm, size S is a little too tight. If in doubt, it's best to choose one size up.
The outer trousers
The outer shorts are made of highly durable polyamide. This fabric is particularly abrasion-resistant and dries extremely quickly. A large zippered pocket is located on the right leg. The waistband is also made of Neospan and can be tightened with a drawstring. Red stripes, a white Hiko logo, and the slogan "In water we live" complete the shorts' cool look. The connection to the inner shorts is made of extremely stretchy Lycra, which also enhances freedom of movement.

I have a pair of trousers now - but which jacket would you recommend to go with them?
We generally find the combination of neoprene pants and a dry jacket ideal. The dry jacket has the advantage that the cuffs are so tight that, at least when you remain seated in the boat, your upper body stays quite dry. This makes paddling comfortable even in cooler temperatures. In this case, we would recommend either the

Nimue (women's) dry jacket. For occasional or fair-weather paddlers, we would recommend the
