Since the Paddle Sports Show 2025, we've been looking forward to this new addition to our range. The big brother of the Little Fish throw bag impresses us with its clean-line design and 9 mm kernmantle rope. In terms of breaking strength, the Big Fish sits between the °hf Compact Classic and the °hf Compact Alpin.
This throw bag can be used directly as-is on the river, without first having to make various loops smaller (or, in the case of the grab handle, remove it entirely). Using this rescue device must be practised regularly. For example, you could set yourself the challenge of throwing the throw bag twice with precision at the start of every kayaking trip. Best for the whole group is to get certified as a Whitewater Rescue Technician.
