The
Werner Sho-Gun is the high-end paddle from the USA. For years, it has reliably accompanied paddlers on the most challenging whitewater. Especially in airy water, the Sho-Gun inspires confidence. An effortless forward stroke is another hallmark of this paddle. The Sho-Gun is a carbon paddle, making it very light and extremely stiff. It doesn't wobble but converts the stroke into forward motion. Similar to the
Lettmann Ergonom Pro and other foam-core paddles, the blade assists with the Eskimo roll – because, unlike the paddler, it always knows which way is up. Due to its relatively large blade area, the Sho-Gun is best suited for larger, stronger paddlers.
Werner has equipped the Shogun paddle well against wear and tear and damage from contact with rocks. The blades are made from a blend of glass and carbon fibers with extra Kevlar™ reinforcements on the pressure side of the blade, plus a Dynel® edge. This makes the paddle very durable even with frequent contact with rocks.
The Werner Sho-Gun is available with a straight stock and an ergonomic stock.
Please note: Due to supply shortages, the waiting time for certain paddles is currently sometimes very long. Therefore, for some models, we kindly ask you to clarify the delivery time with us before placing your final order. This will help us avoid disappointment. Thank you for your understanding!
