The
Werner Sho-Gun is the high-end paddle from the USA. For years, it has reliably accompanied paddlers on the most demanding whitewater. Especially in aerated water, the Sho-Gun inspires a lot of confidence. An effortless forward stroke is another hallmark of this paddle. The Sho-Gun is a carbon paddle — very light and extremely stiff. It doesn't flex around but converts every pull into forward momentum. Similar to the
Lettmann Ergonom Pro and other foam-core paddles, the blade helps with rolling — because unlike the paddler, it knows which way is up. Due to the relatively large blade area, the Sho-Gun is better suited for larger, more powerful paddlers.
Werner has equipped the Sho-Gun well against wear and damage from rock strikes. The blades are made from a mix of glass and carbon fibres with extra Kevlar™ inserts on the power face, plus a Dynel® edge. This makes the paddle extremely durable even with frequent rock contact.
The Werner Sho-Gun is available with a straight shaft or an ergonomic bent shaft.
Note: due to supply chain issues, wait times for certain paddles can sometimes be very long. We therefore ask that for some variants you confirm the delivery time with us before placing your final order. This helps us avoid disappointment. Thank you for your understanding!
