The Waka Gangsta was developed as a creek boat for extreme whitewater races and is by far the most successful racing whitewater kayak of all time. It's slightly narrower than the Waka OG, features a consistent rocker at the stern and has heavily bevelled edges. This makes it extremely fast and easy to control.
The S2S team has had several Gangstas in use since October 2016. The boat convinced us from the very first moment. The Gangsta is incredibly fast, very manoeuvrable and — thanks to the rounder hull compared to other Waka kayaks — very easy to put on edge.
Due to the low height around the cockpit area, smaller paddlers also get on well with the Gangsta. We'd put the lower limit at around 165 cm height and about 60 kg. To fully enjoy this kayak, you shouldn't weigh more than 100 kg.
