The Sandiline ONE42 neoprene hood is a must-have on cold paddling days (or, for example, during our
roll courses )! It's made of 0.5 mm neoprene and lined on the inside with wonderfully soft fleece, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. Thanks to its relatively thin material, it fits under any
helmet while still providing excellent warmth. The material is also very stretchy, so it fits virtually all head sizes.
The hood's design extends over the ears, meaning that even without
ear pads , the ears are well protected from cold wind and splashes. The hood also features a chin strap, which effectively prevents it from riding up.
FAQ: Does a neoprene hood replace earplugs?
We disagree. While a neoprene cap effectively protects against splashes and wind, cold water still gets into your ear canals when your head is actually underwater. Therefore, if you spend a lot of time underwater, we definitely recommend using earplugs, such as those from
