Where are the wide-footed people? We have the perfect shoe for you!
Since the Paddle Sports Show 2023 in Strasbourg, we have been eagerly awaiting the Palm delivery, and now it's finally here: the new Gradient 3.0 - and we have to say, it's absolutely stunning!
During our initial fitting, we immediately noticed that the Palm Gradient 3.0 is finally a shoe for wider feet. The shoe's design provides ample room for the toes. Furthermore, the insole is removable, which is particularly advantageous in winter when thick socks become a concern (or, of course, if you intend to use the shoe with a drysuit). It offers a compelling alternative, especially for those who find the Astral models a bit too narrow.
The Gradient 3.0 also impresses with its grippy Vibram sole (no more slipping), good cushioning (your heels will thank you) and a neoprene shaft to protect ankles and prevent foreign objects from getting into the shoe.
Bren Orton played a key role in the development, from concept to design. In his honor, the sherbet/turquoise colorway is called the
" Bren Orton Signature Edition . " A portion of the sales will be donated by Palm to a fund established in his memory.
Bren, it's really sad that you can't walk into our shop in these shoes, grinning from ear to ear and telling us about your new plans. We'll paddle many river miles of #classjoy for you, you can be sure of that. 😊
