The NRS Clearwater is a straightforward touring kayak life jacket without any frills. The buoyancy element at the back is positioned above the kayak seat backrest, allowing ventilation of the back and comfortable leaning against the seat. The PFD has two flat front pockets with water drainage. They're perfectly integrated into the vest and therefore don't get in the way when paddling. The system of 6 adjustable straps ensures a comfortable fit and secure positioning. It can be adjusted at both the sides and the shoulder straps, so it can't ride up. The front zip is very comfortable, making putting on and taking off the life jacket very easy — it doesn't need to be pulled over the head. Of course, a knife attachment point is also included.
