The Waka Tutea is the smaller version of the old Waka Tuna and a perfect whitewater kayak for paddlers in the 50–70 kg weight range.
The Waka Tutea can be paddled with extreme precision, and thanks to its strong rocker and wide, flat bow, it resurfaces very quickly after drops. This kayak is therefore highly controllable even in the most demanding whitewater and relatively easy to keep in check.
At 64.5 cm wide, the Waka Tutea — unlike the Tuna — can also be easily put on edge by lighter and smaller paddlers, allowing a very active paddling style. The Tutea is a boat that should be paddled actively and always with a bit of momentum.
The extremely lightweight outfitting is robust, functional and comfortable.
