The new FLOATEK airbags were developed by Hiko to provide a durable and environmentally friendly solution for demanding paddlers. The material is made from Drifter 210D nylon with TPU coating. It's flexible enough to perfectly fill the available space in the cockpit while providing high abrasion resistance even in demanding paddling conditions.
The airbags remain flexible even at cold temperatures and are resistant to cracking over the long term. A reinforced inflation tube increases durability and ensures easy, reliable inflation.
And the best part: the material is completely PVC-free. Pretty cool, right?
These airbags are designed for the stern of all whitewater kayaks where the centre pillar extends far towards the back. So for example all kayaks from Waka, DragoRossi, Lettmann, Pyranha — in short, all the brands we currently stock.
