With the DRS, DragoRossi brings a fast, agile and modern creek boat for smaller and lighter paddlers to market. At 273 cm, the boat is quite long and therefore incredibly fast — so fast that Kilian Ivelic immediately set a new speed record in the Loferschlucht with it. For its length, the DRS is relatively narrow. Thanks to the pronounced rocker and the slightly less pronounced edge at the bow, the boat can still be convinced to change direction well. We're also impressed by the boofing characteristics — the boat skips effortlessly over holes and ledges, partly thanks to its speed.
What also changes compared to the DRX is the new seat construction. This is now — like Waka — "one piece". The weight could therefore be reduced further. At 20.5 kg, the DRS is now easy to handle even for lighter people. And what will particularly please people with slender thighs: the thigh braces are pulled quite far inward, giving them particularly good grip and control over the boat. People with thicker thighs may want to trim the braces individually.
We'd estimate the ideal paddler weight for the boat at 50 – 75 kg.
