Astral V-Eight life jacket

The Astral V-Eight life jacket is the world's first breathable PFD. Beyond that, it features a high back, making it perfect for kayaks with high seat backs. The vest combines Astral's patented Airescape® technology with a high mesh back panel. This makes it comfortable to wear even without a paddle jacket, as the back and chest are actually ventilated even under the PFD. The minimalist design also provides excellent freedom of movement. The foam is pre-shaped, so the vest fits both men and women.

Similar to the NRS Clearwater or the NRS cVest, the V-Eight has a front entry zip, making putting it on and taking it off particularly easy. As always, Astral has thought the design through superbly. The shoulder straps are adjustable and have hook-and-loop closure where you can neatly secure excess webbing. The pockets are integrated at the front sides and offer plenty of storage. There's also an external knife attachment point.
