Hiko CALYPSO Air4.X Women's Drysuit

The Hiko Calypso Air4.X is a robust dry suit designed for whitewater use. The double tunnel makes it particularly suitable for whitewater kayaking. The cut is women-specific and provides generous freedom of movement.

The materials used are durable and robust. The majority of the suit is made from Air4 material — a four-layer membrane fabric with a water column of 25,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h. At heavily stressed areas like the elbows, seat and knees, the suit is additionally reinforced with abrasion-resistant Cordura® 4L material.

Entry is via a TIZIP® zip at the shoulder blades. This might feel a bit unfamiliar at first, but on the river you'll have completely different things on your mind and won't even notice it — promise! :-) The dry suit also has a TIZIP® zip at the seat (drop seat), so you can go to the toilet fairly easily without having to take off all your paddling gear.

The width at the waist can be easily adjusted with two hook-and-loop tabs left and right. These are designed so that when putting on, the material is tightened both at the back and front — for a perfect fit! The leg cuffs can also be tightened with hook-and-loop so you don't trip over your own feet.

The suit has latex gaskets at the neck and wrists. To protect these from sun exposure, they're covered with e.prene cuffs. The booties are made from robust Cordura® 4L material. While durable, we still recommend always wearing thin neoprene socks (e.g. Sandiline Skin05 neoprene socks) over them.
