With the
Werner Strike whitewater paddle, the manufacturer fulfills a long-held customer request: a fiberglass paddle in the familiar Werner quality with forward-positioned blades. This means that the paddle blade is not in line with the paddle shaft, but is offset a few centimeters forward. This allows for earlier pressure on the blade, a steeper paddle angle, and thus more power generation during the forward stroke.
We recommend the Werner Strike whitewater paddle for smaller paddlers. Everyone else might want to take a look at the larger
Surge , for example.
Due to the smaller paddle surfaces, the Strike is also optionally available with a thinner paddle shaft for smaller hands.
