The Waka Tutea is the smaller version of the old Waka Tuna and a perfect whitewater kayak for paddlers in the 50kg - 70kg weight class.
The Waka Tutea offers extremely precise handling and, thanks to its pronounced rocker and wide, flat bow, resurfaces very quickly after drops. This makes the kayak highly maneuverable and relatively easy to control, even in the most challenging whitewater.
With a width of 64.5 cm, the Waka Tutea – unlike the Tuna – can be easily edged by lighter and smaller paddlers, allowing for a very active paddling style. The Tutea is a boat that should be paddled actively and with a bit of momentum.
The extremely lightweight components are robust, functional, and comfortable.
