Drysuits require slightly more maintenance, primarily due to their latex seals. As we all know, latex is quite stretchy and robust, but with frequent use it becomes prone to tearing and tends to become brittle over time.
We've added Gear Aid Seal Saver to our S2S shop. Seal Saver is a conditioning product for latex and also keeps neoprene and rubber materials supple. It improves the lifespan of the seals on drysuits and jackets. Think of it like sunscreen for your skin (except you don't need to apply it as often ;)).
The application is quite simple:
Step 1: Clean your cuffs with clean water and let them air dry.
Step 2: Grab the Seal Saver and a clean cloth.
Step 3: Rub your cuffs with the Seal Saver and a cloth (like you would your skin with sunscreen).
Step 4: Dab off any remaining care product with a dry cloth, then let the Seal Saver take effect.
