The Creek S is a great boat for smaller and lighter paddlers. It has plenty of safety margin to take it on even really challenging whitewater. At 257 cm long, the boat isn't extremely long, but it's still quite fast. According to Marieke, it's a real rocket and accelerates accordingly. The bow is significantly less bulky than, for example, on the
Waka Goat. The seating position is therefore also slightly different: the legs are more stretched out and not as far apart. Because the boat is narrower, it's also easy to steer for smaller and lighter people. The boat only develops more pronounced edges towards the stern. This means that you're not pushed around as much, even in powerful water. Furthermore, you experience pleasantly few unexpected boat maneuvers.
This rocker!
The Exo Zion Creek S has the biggest rocker we've ever seen for a boat of its size! The boat is practically a semicircle! This leads to several things. First, the bow ALWAYS stays dry. It zips, pushes, and bounces over anything in its path. The rocker at the stern is also considerable. As a result, even after big boofs, you rarely get thrown out of position. Another important point: due to the banana shape, even small changes in seating position have a significant impact on the boat's handling. Experimenting with your seating position is highly recommended. For example, if water always splashes onto the stern after boofs, try moving the seat forward a bit. This is quite easy to do thanks to the new metal plate with a groove. Shifting your weight forward and backward also translates well to the boat.
Our conclusion: Creeker is for everyone weighing approximately 45-75 kg! Definitely worth trying!
