It's not just surfers who need to protect their ear canals — kayakers do too. With the SurfEars 4.0, we've found a product that convinces us across the board. Protecting your ears from cold water is important, but equally important is being able to communicate with each other on the river. Unlike the ThreeWaves ear plugs, the SurfEars are designed with a membrane. This lets sound waves through while keeping water out. We think that's genius.
To fit as many different ears as possible, the package includes seal tips in four(!) different sizes. These have fins so you can even determine how deep they should sit in the ear. Small wings anchor the plugs in the ear, also supplied in two sizes. Your left ear is shaped slightly differently from your right? No problem — the left and right sides can be configured completely independently.
What's New with the SurfEars 4.0:
- Made from recycled ocean plastics and reused silicone — protect your ears and the planet!
- Reinforced material for increased durability
- Wingless option for more comfort under hoods or for people with smaller ears
- New colour options: black/sage or coral/sky
