Seal Saver Latex Care

Dry suits require a bit more maintenance, mainly because of their latex gaskets. Latex material is, as we all know, quite stretchy and robust, but becomes susceptible to tears with frequent use and tends to become brittle over time.

That's why the Gear Aid Seal Saver has earned its place in our S2S shop. Seal Saver is a care product for latex material and also keeps neoprene and rubber supple. It improves the longevity of gaskets on dry suits and dry jackets. Think of it like sunscreen for your skin (just doesn't need to be applied as often ;))

Application is pretty simple:

Step 1: Clean your gaskets with fresh water and let them air dry.

Step 2: Grab the Seal Saver and a clean cloth.

Step 3: Rub the Seal Saver into your gaskets with the cloth (like rubbing sunscreen into your skin).

Step 4: Dab off excess product with a dry cloth and let the Seal Saver soak in.

Step 5: Go kayaking.
