The fabric is light, flexible and very breathable, so you don't overheat even on very warm days. At the upper arms, this jacket has neoprene gaskets.
The jacket features a double tunnel, making it perfectly suited for whitewater. The advantage: less water can enter the boat, saving you from regularly sponging out the water.

Who needs this jacket?
People who don't want to go without light protection from sun, spray and wind on warm days. The material is particularly light and breathable, making the jacket comfortable to wear even in summer. This jacket is particularly popular with guides or people leading groups on easy whitewater who don't have their heads underwater as often.
Is this jacket waterproof?
The material is certainly waterproof. However, if your head goes underwater (e.g. when rolling), water will enter at the neck and arms. (Hence the name "SemiDry")
Why does the jacket cost less on Immersion Research's website?
Because IR's website only shows the net price. When ordering from America, in addition to shipping costs, additional fees of approximately 25% of the sale price apply. Our prices already include VAT and no additional fees apply.
