EXO Helixir

With the Helixir, EXO and GuiGui have pulled off a real coup. The famous carbon freestyle kayak now available in PE at an affordable price — a brilliant idea, we think. The Helixir is a modern playboat that leaves nothing to be desired for today's freestyle paddler. All new-school moves come more easily. It's easy to loop and cartwheel. Daniel, who also owns the carbon version, is a huge fan of the plastic version too. The advantages are obvious: it's cheaper and can handle more rock contact. And since summer 2019, the boat is finally also available for smaller and lighter paddlers in sizes S and XS! For very tall people, unfortunately there's no Helixir XL yet. Anyone over 185 cm could fall back on the EXO XG.

What we also love about the Helixir is the outfitting. As with all EXO boats, the seat can be slid forward and backward. Something you should definitely experiment with on every boat to find the ideal seating position. Paddlers who are closer to the lower size and weight limit should definitely try a seating position further forward. Especially in freestyle, where so much happens through weight shifting, this is particularly important. The backrest can be infinitely adjusted via a cord-pull system.

EXO supplies a quarter-circle piece of foam as a footrest. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but we're happy to help you fit your boat perfectly.

In terms of cockpit size, a Keyhole spray skirt can be a tight fit on the Helixir L. In that case, we'd recommend going for a Bighole.

We have the Helixir in stock in several colours and sizes. If you'd like to order a specific colour combination, that's of course also possible. The available colours are: red, yellow, green, blue, orange, pink, black. These can be freely combined with each other. We ask for your understanding that we need to check delivery times for custom boats.
