A long-cherished dream has finally become reality! But let's start at the beginning of the story: About a year ago, Matthi and Dani – members of the legendary S2S team – had the brilliant idea of modifying their Exo Rexy using a VW bus. To do this, they removed the rear foam wedge from the kayaks and then parked the car with one tire centrally positioned on the stern of the boat. The path to the series
Last autumn, Bernie set off to visit the EXO Kayaks company. The goal was clear: to find a way to mass-produce the Party Rexy. After a busy day, the first two Party Rexy prototypes were finished, and they headed to Corsica for testing.
Fortunately, we found ideal water levels in Corsica, allowing us to thoroughly test the kayaks over 3 days of paddling on the Asco, Vecchio, Tavignu and Fango rivers.
The test results were so convincing that on his way home, Bernie stopped by EXO again to develop a process for mass production. A few weeks ago, the long-awaited news arrived from Italy that the necessary molds and tools for mass production were now complete.
We ordered immediately, of course.
