Socks not only keep your feet warm, they also protect your high-quality equipment! For all drysuits and dry pants with booties, you should always wear two pairs of socks. A pair of fleece socks underneath the booties and a pair of thin neoprene socks over the booties. The inner socks protect the material from sweat and grease, while the outer neoprene socks prevent mechanical damage from sand and stones in your shoes. In this way, you can significantly increase the lifespan of your drysuit.
