Who we are and what we offer you
We are a small team of professional and active kayakers and spend a lot of time in our kayaks. What unites us is our love of nature and good, high-quality equipment. In our store, we only sell goods that we would use ourselves and that we stand behind. We don't sell junk or short-lived equipment. We promise!
Dispensing with short-lived equipment
Originally created out of the motivation to offer necessary material for kayak students, the store has since become a time-consuming field of work in its own right.
Our store is located in Natters near Innsbruck, together with the warehouse for the online store and the kayak school.
We are constantly on the river, privately and with kayak courses. Many of our store customers are course participants who we know personally and with whom we may have already experienced adventures.
That's why we only select items for our range that we are convinced of, that we have tested or that we know the manufacturer delivers good quality. This is a learning process from which we benefit and which may make one or two decisions easier for you.
Labels for special products
In order to highlight particularly recommendable products in our online store, we have recently introduced two labels: A "Premium" label and a "Green" label.
We award the "Premium" label to products that we believe offer particularly high quality: They are durable, well made, very well thought out, fun to use and which we therefore usually use ourselves.
We award the "Green" label to environmentally friendly products: A perfect product would consume little energy during production, transportation and disposal. It would not cause any climate-damaging substances, would be non-toxic, biodegradable without leaving any residue, would last a long time and fulfill all functional requirements perfectly. As we have not yet found such a product, the "Green" label is awarded if the material, manufacturing process and transportation at least partially meet these criteria.
We prefer short transportation routes, if possible by ship from overseas. Little packaging, no plastic if possible. Durability and reparability. Products should be as non-toxic as possible and as environmentally friendly as possible in production.
